If you think you cannot afford to have regular private lessons, why not trying to learn French with a partner? If you don`t know anybody to join you, let me know and I will try to find someone else to share the lessons with you, according to your availabilities.
However, the one-to-one tuition in Mansfield only starts from £14 per hour. So, at this price, you might be able to have your own private teacher (which is myself). This cost is a lot lower than the average rates; this is because there is no commission added by any other agency. I am self-employed, and you can contact me directly.
